Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangha (BNPS) organized a human chain in banner of Citizen Group on 2 October protesting communal attack and atrocities against the Budhdhist community of Cox's Bazar and Chittagong District. A number of organizations joined the protest held in front of National Press Club. They demanded arrest and exemplary punishment for the perpetrators, compensation to the victims, and security to the minorities.

Pakistan Kissan Rabita Committee (PKRC), the focal organisation of the Food Sovereignty Campaign Group of South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE) in Pakistan, organized a discussion entitled "Land Grab : The Pakistan Case" on 03 July 2012 at Okara, Punjab Province.
During the discussion, representatives of peasant organisations, labour unions, advocates and other civil society activists decided to extend the campaign against land grabbing in Pakistan. The World Social Forum on Migration is an event that falls in line with the World Social Forums (WSF). WSF is a space for democratic debate of ideas, reflection, formulation of proposals, exchange of experiences and articulation of social movements, networks, NGOs and other civil society organizations that are opposed to neoliberal globalization and the restriction of granting citizenship and civil rights, political, economic, social and cultural rights of migrants, displaced persons, refugees and stateless persons.
